GREEN SCHOOL BIG TRAVEL CHALLENGE
We took part in the Green Schools Big Travel Challenge. It is an initiative to promote sustainable travel to school over a 10 day period. We walked to school. This was open to all students from 1st-6th Class.
The Challenge started on Wednesday 22nd February.
We walked from the crossroads at Murphy’s shop to the school. It was a 15 minute walk. The walk was lead by teachers, SNAs and the Green Schools Committee.
The Big Travel Challenge is part of St. Leonards’ application for a Green Schools Travel flag.
